Our Story
The London Institute of Actuarial Studies was founded to address a clear gap in actuarial education. The need for a specialist institution that combines genuine academic rigour with direct relevance to professional actuarial practice.
LIAS is built on the UK academic tradition, with a curriculum structured around the assessment framework of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. From the outset, the institute has been developed with academic coherence, professional credibility and long-term sustainability as its guiding principles.

Degree-awarding partnership with an accredited European institution.The MSc Actuarial Science is awarded by the EuroAmerican Institute, accredited by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA).
